AGISTMENT
To ensure that your thoroughbred will remain in peak condition during their stay we provide:
- A twice daily feeding program.
- Rugging as required.
- Stabling as required.
- Secure and safely fenced paddocks.
SALES PREP
Universal Stables prepares yearlings, breeze up, broodmares and tried horses.
Sales preparation program is extensive and tailored to each horse under our care including:
Tailored nutrition program for each horse.
Daily exercise regime of walking and or lunging.
Daily grooming.
Education to stand and walk correctly.
Pre-sale parade visits and open days for auction houses.
All horses within our program are treated as individuals thus ensuring that they always reach their peak in time for the sale.
PRE TRAINING
Universal Stables offers pre training to enable your horse to return to work, legged up, strong and ready to go.
- Electric dry fully rubber lined walker.
- Lunging/mouthing.
- Arena schooling.
Rehabilitation
- Professional management for injuries or operations once the horse leaves the vet centre.
- Providing extensive knowledge in injury and post operative care.
- Close proximity to the University of Qld Veterinary Medical Centre, Gatton.
- Equissage.
- Corrective farrier services available.
ABOUT US
Owned and operated by Adam Oliver and Phil Bobic who bring 30 years of combined experience in the training and preparation of Performance Horses. Both Adam & Phil are well respected trainers and horseman having worked in the equine industry for many years. With their wealth of knowledge and experience they have great respect for the athletic Thoroughbred and an extensive understanding of their individual needs.
