Thoroughbred pre-training
Our pre-training program at Universal Stables is designed from multiple angles. We understand the fundamental importance of biomechanics, muscle development and resistance training - all requirements to achieve ultimate fitness within a safe timeframe.
Developing a pre-training program for your thoroughbred, we aim to develop the horse’s fitness base to allow a headstart to your racing campaign. Here at Universal Stables we have access to rolling hills for increased intensity, T4 speed plus incline Horse Gym treadmill, 20 acres of river flats to stretch out on and a 70 by 40 meter ELD sand arena for schooling - to create suppleness and extra back function. We find access to all quarters of the body equally to gain that all important extra length.
We work with you and your thoroughbred, to ensure the best possible future racing campaign. Prices starting from $66 per horse per day, with the following inclusions
Exercise regime, specifically structured to your horse
